UMANG MELA 2018
UMANG MELA 2018 was organised on Sunday 8th April 2018 at School’s Edmund Rice hall.
Approximate 200 deprived kids enjoyed the event. Every child have a right to play and be happy, Umang mela was an initiative to bring smile to these kids.
Mela was inaugurated by Principal Bro. Miranda.
The following activities were conducted during the mela.
Prayer by Ms Grace.
Street play on climate change by schools students.
Lucky dip:- Though it was a lucky dip, but each child was gifted school bag, books and stationary sets.
Game stall:- 1- Hit the clown. 2-Pyramid 3- Kill the potato 4- Water magic.
Food counters:1- Snacks ( Four delicious variety) 2- Main course 3- Cold drinks Ice cream and chocolate.
One hour special music and dance for the kids.
( All activities were free of cost)
All the kids enjoyed the day and they very happy.
These 200 kids were from NGO-Pratyek, Shade of happiness and Slums.
