HUMANYUN’S TOMB VISIT

‘Our Heriatge is our identity’.Columbans celebrated the World Heriatge Day by visiting the Humanyun’s tomb,a distinct example of mughal architecture.The boys of classes VI-VIII got a glimpse into the past and appreciated the significance of the UNESCOHeritge site.The visit began with a nature walk.The lush green lawns provided a serene backdrop for our students to learn and ponder over the little known details which were shared by the young guides.They interacted with the boys and kept them engaged through storytelling and various other activities.The towering structure of the Mughal era brought the youngsters closer to a bygone time.Later during the visit,activities like web of life,calligraphy and mughal floral painting were conducted by the Aga Khan Trust.The students observed the Heriatge Day with understanding and appreciation of the past.
