The theme of the Middle Section Awards this year was “WORKERS ARE WINNERS” and the takeaway message for the  awardees and students of Class10 seated in the audience was that each student should stand for a culture of excellence , set performance standards for themselves , work on their dreams and never to get deterred by failure.

In fact , this was reiterated by the Principal Brother Miranda in his address to the audience where he commended the students who had got 100 percent in any one or more of the five  subjectsin the CBSE  and encouraged each student to aim to get a minimum of 70 percent. He sought the support of the parents to work with the Aspire Team an endeavor to assist the academically brightest students at St Columba’s to make their mark at their CBSE examinations , in admissions to the best colleges and in carving out their careers in the future.
