The Spellathon competition, an annual event held in the Middle School is not only an exciting event for the students but also a wonderful learning source for our young lads as it helps in enriching their vocabulary and encourages them to read more.
The first round of this competition was held on the 5th of July ’18 , wherein the top two scorers from each section of classes 4 to 10 qualified to compete in the second round which was held on the 16,17 and the 18th of July for classes 4-6,7-8 and 9-10 respectively.
The second round witnessed great enthusiasm amongst the contestants as they duelled through the toughest words and definitions in a window of 10- 30 seconds! The contestants participated in the “Power Spell” , “ Jumbled Juxtapose” and the “Rapid Fire” rounds.
Last but not the least, the contestants who were eliminated in the first round and formed a part of the audience, were full of enthusiasm throughout and gave correct responses. The competition was truly an interactive and a fun- filled event!
