In continuation to our previous endeavour where we organised a Diabetes and obesity awareness workshop with the association of “HRIDAY-SHAN” and cancer workshop with “CAN SUPPORT”, A free medical health check-up camp was organised at St. Columba’s School in the Middle School Auditorium on 18th August 2018.
The camp was inaugurated by Dr Sahoo from Maharaja Agrasen Hospital, The team of Doctors consists of 4 doctors and 2 nurses included general physicians and a paediatrician conducted general check up, blood pressure test, sugar test, and weight check up for children as well as adults. Approximate 75 families were benefitted from this camp. Needed people were also distributed medicines.
One on Gender equality was screened in the Auditorium during the health camp to sensitize the people about the issues.
This camp was appreciated by many parents. We could touch only 75 families due to time constraint, This camp turned out to be very successful.
The camp was concluded by showing our sincere gratitude to Doctor Sahoo and his team from Maharaja Agrasen Hospital for collaborating with St. Columba’s School and making this event a great success.
This was organised by Mrs. Pant and her team of boys from the Eco-Justice Club.
