The government of N.C.T of Delhi has organized mega plantation drive on 8 th September 2018 .DoE has been assigned major role of mobilizing kids. St. Columba’s school also participated in this event. ECO club boys of St. columba’s were very excited for this event . We have done plantation at school site near Bhai Veer Sing Marg, New Delhi . Principal Br. Miranda and parents were part of this plantation drive. After plantation at school, boys were taken to Ashok road and Janpath where approximate 500 Syngonium saplings, 15 Jamun saplings planted at Ashok road and 15 Neem saplings were planted at Jantar mantar road .
It was a great step by Delhi Govt. for plantation of 5Lacs saplings,at 600 locations across Delhi for making Delhi Green and pollution free.
Students participated under the guidance of Br.Nico, Mrs.R.Nigam, Mrs.M. Mathur, Mrs.R Rana.
