An Art & Craft Exhibition (Art O’Craft) was held at the Middle School on 13th October, 2018, in which the art & craft work of the students of Middle school classes 4 to 10, was displayed. The Exhibition was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Chief Guest Ms Rashmi Singh, Secretary, NDMC in the presence of the Principal, Headmistress, Teachers and boys of the St Columba’s school. To stimulate the creative minds of students, different techniques of painting, sketching and craft have been introduced, as a result students have created a variety of paintings, craft items etc., which were displayed in the exhibition. The art work included pencil shading, charcoal shading, acrylic paint, water color paintings, Madhubani, Warli, calligraphy, Doodle art, Newspaper art etc. The craft work displayed included pottery decoration, jute work and paper craft. Some of the boys also made excellent drawings on the spot. The Chief Guest interacted with the young talent and was highly impressed with their skills and work. The art and craft work of students was well appreciated by one and all.
