On the 8th of October the students of Class 1 E conducted a morning assembly about the Red Cross Society. There was an informative presentation where the boys enacted scenes of war, floods, extremist attack and other emergencies. They depicted how the volunteers of the Red Cross Society play a selfless and pivotal role in bringing about relief and aid to victims.
The boys presented short speeches about the history of the Red Cross society, it's mission, the major areas of relief work in times of disasters. The promotion of health care of vulnerable people and communities by the volunteers of Red Cross was also elaborated. The boys wearing sashes of different countries presented the song “ We are the world “ so as to motivate all to work in unison and be caring towards the less privileged.
