The morning of 26th October 2018 witnessed a colourful extravaganza of dance, music and drama at Edmund Rice Hall, St. Columba's School. An audience of more than 500 parents applauded the showcase of talent of the boys of class 4 and 5 as the institution strived to incorporate the multiple intelligences, giving each Columban an opportunity to participate in the program that not only entertained the audience but delivered some powerful socially relevant messages such as- “save the girl child”, “ stop child abuse” and “ the variety that binds India”.

The program was inaugurated with the lighting of the lamp by the Principal Br. Miranda and the chief guests- Mr.Maneck Khanna, Mr.Kshmendra Narain and Mr. Aditya Chugh. The audience was enthralled by the vivid performances of the students of class 4 who presented a kaleidoscope of dance, drama and music depicting the dances of the various states of India and wove them in a single fabric. The choir sung melodious songs that emotionally charged the atmosphere. The students of class 5 brightened up the stage with the skit to relive the classic “Sound of Music” and mesmerized all with the scintillating showcase of talent.

The program was concluded by Mrs.D. Pandey- the coordinator of class 4 and 5 with a vote of thanks. It was also a unique endeavour of the school to create awareness among people about the “He for She campaign” as the students of class 9- 10 under the guidance of Mrs.A.
