Title : CULTURAL PROGRAM - CLASS VI & VII (2018-19)

On the 25th of October 2018, the middle section of our school seemed to be brimming with energy as the students of classes 6th and 7th went on showcasing their talent in the Cultural Programme. The show comprised of a plethora of performances including dance, drama and narrative exploring a variety of themes ranging from the classical times to contemporary India; social evils to Clean India campaign; the diversity and subsequent beauty of our nation to the spirit of patriotism. Along with the rejuvenation of our spirits, a significant objective of the show was to provide each and every student with an opportunity to recognize and exhibit his talent on stage. The performances were meticulously planned and executed, ensuring that the uniqueness of each child was brought to light.

The programme was inaugurated by the chief guests - Mr. Suman Chandra and Mr. Deepak Khosla - esteemed members of 1963 batch of our school, along with our principal, Brother E.V. Miranda. Teachers and a considerable gathering of parents witnessed the show to encourage and applaud the efforts of the young children. The students were prepared, instructed and guided by the teachers all throughout, as a result of which they came out with flying colours.

A signature campaign for a noteworthy initiative ‘HeForShe’ was also being conducted alongside the cultural event, as an attempt to solidify the school’s solidarity with women to create a bold, visible and united force for gender equality. The cultural show concluded with a vote of thanks by the coordinator, Mrs Sucheeta Pall, in which she expressed her gratitude to the guests, parents, teachers and students. For more than five hundred students, many of whom performed on stage for the first time, the moments spent during the show will remain a cherished memory for times to come.
