A) Mrs. Geeta Sehgal
Mrs Geeta Sehgal was honoured with the National Award, under the category, “The Best Teacher Educator Award-2019” by The International Youth Society & National Youth Awardees Federation of India , on 11th December, 2019 at The Constitution Club, New Delhi. This is in appreciation for her significant achievement, unparalleled dedication and outstanding efforts in educating Children with Special Needs. Mr. Shyam Jaju, National General Secretary, Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP), presented the award to ma’am in the presence of various other dignitaries.

B) Ansh Gupta, 'DIL SE'
Ansh Gupta (Head Boy) of the Middle School, studying in class 10, initiated a drive named DIL SE.. with the help of the ' Eco - Justice Club', with the aim of celebrating a Sustainable Diwali. Under this, four boxes were put up in the Middle School Foyer, to collect clothes, stationary, toys and books, that we all have but don’t use any longer.
They got huge contributions from all the Columban students, teachers and other staff members. Each contribution showed how the students have imbibed the values of our founder, Edmund Rice. All the things thus collected were distributed in a charitable school and in three slum areas in Punjabi Bagh extension, Rani Bagh and Rohini. The joy on the face of everyone who received was priceless!!
C) Ansh Gupta – a recipient of Inspire Awards - Manak 2019
Ansh Gupta of class 10 E submitted an innovative idea to Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India under Inspire Manak awards.
His idea has been selected and he has received a cash prize of Rs. 10,000 from the Government. His idea was based on sustainability, which is the need of the hour.
He plans to present his idea as a project/model in the District Level Exhibition and Project Competitions (DLEPCs to be organised by the District Education Authority.

D) Shreyansh Agarwal
Shreyansh Agarwal of Class 7-E, secured the First Runner Up position in the 14th Sip Abacus Regional Prodigy. Congratulations to the Champ!!
