The much awaited KG Diwali Carnival was held on the bright sunny morning of 26th of October 2018, in the Junior School field. The children and the parents of the kindergarten had a memorable day full of fun, frolic and learning. The carnival was held with a difference, where our children learnt and enhanced their skills of decision making, fine motor, cognition, reading, comprehension, vocabulary, confidence building, speaking, eye and hand co-ordination, etc., through various stalls set up by different sections.
The tattoo making and diya decorating stalls invited a lot of visitors as both the children and the parents alike displayed their creativity in decorating the lamps and candles. They left the stall in smiles, adorning various tattoos of their favourite cartoon characters.
The interactive games stalls namely “Feeding the Hanuman” and “Fun with Learning” had the young Columbans engaged at their best.
The food stall served freshly made popcorn, candy floss and juices, adding to the fun.
Besides the above stalls there were other attractions like the Bouncy-Jumpy, a Pidilite Art Corner and a Book Stall for the young readers.
The carnival was an affair to remember and surely added fond memories for the little ones and their parents.
