On the 20th of December 2018 the Principal, Br..Miranda, the choir of the middle school along with their music teachers – Mr. Samuel Macdonald, Br.Nicole, the Coordinator of classes 6 to 8 – Mrs. Sucheeta Pal, a couple of teachers and fifteen boys from classes 6 to 8 visited the Children’s ward at Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital so as to bring a little joy and Christmas warmth to the kids in hospital.
The choir sang some lively carols and each of the children at the hospital were gifted a lovely soft toy.
The choir with musical accompaniment on guitars and the violin brought smiles onto the countenances of the kids and nursing staff alike. Some of the children though sick and unwell kept swaying to the beat of the music.
It was indeed a beautiful way of extending a little warmth and cheer to kids who weren’t in the pink of health.
