Title : EDUCATIONAL EXCURSION - CLASS VIII (2018-19)

The students of class VIII visited the UNESCO heritage site - Jama Masjid on 13th December’ 2018. Jama Masjid showcases a fine blend of religion and Mughal architecture. It draws countless visitors. The age old monument stands tall in the ancient town of old Delhi. The students were briefed about the history and the significance of the place by Heritage Walk guides. The courtyard of the mosque can hold up to 25,000 worshippers various such interesting facts were shared with students. The serenity of the place was felt by one and all present. The visit instilled in the young Columbans a respect for people of different faiths. It was followed by a lunch at the Talkatora lawns.
