On 21st January 2019 classes 6C and 6E visited Jeevan Jyoti Home at Jangpura. The institution is run by the Missionaries of Charity and is spotlessly clean and very well kept.The staff and volunteers appeared to be very affectionate, committed and caring. It was an enriching experience and our students realized that despite physical and mental challenges, the inmates were still cheerful.
A.Singh 6 E : “It was a fantastic experience. Even though the children were challenged they had a desire to learn, this I found very inspiring.”
F.Mittal 6E: “Initially I was excited about the outing but on reaching Jeevan Jyoti I felt sad to see a child with no fingers and hands. Some were unable to see, write or even walk. I realized how fortunate I was.”

Each one of us is called to do his or her bit towards society and helping those who are faced with various challenges.
