The students of Class 5A and B accompanied by their class teachers and a parent volunteer visited Twinkle Organisation (Udaan), an old age home for elderly women on 15th December,2018.
The students of SCS presented a small programme which included a speech, carols, songs and instrumental music. They spent the morning interacting with its inmates and took their blessings. It was indeed a special day. The students got an opportunity to connect with the elderly and know their life stories .Our students were full of zest and love for them. The elderly women were blessed to see such homely gestures by our students
A cash contribution was made by our students as well as mugs, woolen socks and jute bags were given to all. This visit was a magnificent step in sensitizing the students how a little effort can make a huge difference in the lives of others. Also, to inculcate values of empathy and compassion. The students vowed to do something for senior citizens and contribute towards the betterment of their condition.
