The boys of class 7E visited St. Mary's Old Age Home at Rajpur Road on the 5th February 2019.This outreach visit provided the boys with an excellent opportunity to interact with the inmates, 7 elderly women all above 70years of age. The women seemed very happy to have the boys visiting them and readily answered their queries, giving them a detailed view of their lives at this place, where they are well looked after and happy in the company of friends.
The boys conducted an interfaith prayer service for the inmates and sang songs bringing back nostalgia on their wizened faces.
Dry rations and garments which had been bought for them were presented to the people managing the place.
The experience was an eye opener for the students, who realised the blessing they have in the form of grandparents who stay with them at their homes.
