Traffic safety education plays an important role in shaping the attitude and behaviour of children and young people ensuring they become responsible drivers, passengers, pedestrians and cyclists. On 5th February 2019, the morning assembly was conducted by the students of class 2 and 3 about Road Safety Measures.

Through role play, placards and songs the students urged one and all to adopt and practice road safety measures when crossing the roads and follow road traffic signals to avoid accidents and mishaps.

The young students of the Junior Wing joined and participated in the initiatives taken by the Delhi government in organising the Road Safety Week.

ACP Sh. Vijey Tomer - Delhi Traffic Police , Sub Inspector Pushpal Kaur and Head Constable Sanjay Rana from Traffic Training Park, Baba Kharak Singh Marg graced the occasion and imparted road safety education and tips to the children.

They were left spellbound by the awareness, knowledge and participation by the young students.

The assembly was concluded with a quiz which was thoroughly enjoyed by one and all.

The students were surely left with a message- “Better safe than sorry. ”
