Title : EDUCATIONAL TRIP TO THE SCIENCE MUSEUM - CLASS 2 (2018-19)

“Give the pupils something to do, not something to learn; and the doing is of such a nature as to demand thinking; learning naturally results.”
—-John Dewey
An educational trip was organized for the students of Class 2 on the 19th of February 2019, to the National Science Center.
It was an exciting trip as it was knowledge blended with fun. Children learnt the basics of Science. There were a lot of sections and interactive exhibits, with motorised models so the children could operate them and see their working, displaying various scientific principles. The 3D movie depicting the evolution of Dinosaurs attracted the attention of the boys and evoked interest.
Going through the Mirror Maze was a lot of fun for the children. The boys had a guided tour of the Museum witnessing various scientific exhibits to enhance their curiosity towards the mechanism of the scientific displays.
The students surely had a fun filled and memorable day, full of experiential learning. As they headed back to the school, they carried with them a lot of memories and a store house of new information that they picked up during their educational tour.
