Title : CLASS ASSEMBLY BY 3E (2019-20)

'The pleasure of reading books'

“To learn to read is to light a fire; every syllable that is spelled out is a spark. “—Victor Hugo

The students of class 3E had a special opportunity to conduct the assembly on the 7th of May, 2019. The topic chosen for the assembly was 'The pleasure of reading books'. The assembly began on a prayerful note, following which the boys presented an interesting skit on the importance of reading books. The students highlighted the advantages of reading and ways to become a better reader. Through the enactment, the students of class 3E brought the attention of one and all to the essence of making books our favourite companions thereby enabling us to reap a multitude of benefits. A short quiz followed, which invited participation from the students of different classes. The assembly concluded on a peppy note with an action song - 'I like to read!’

Our honourable Principal, Br. Miranda who witnessed the assembly was all praises. He shared his valuable views on the significance of reading books and how the students must behave when in the library. Our Headmistress, Mrs Kaushal also appreciated the efforts of the students.
