DATE - 22ND MAY 2019
The 8th Annual Rhyme and Rhythm competition of the Middle Section of our school for classes 4 to 7 was held on the 22nd May 2019 in the Edmund Rice Hall with great enthusiasm and fervour.
As we celebrate 175 years of Edmund’s Legacy , we bring alive his charisma and remember him through poetry , music and appreciation of the written verse.
This year’s theme for the event was ‘Children and Childhood memories’ for classes 4 and 5 and ‘Emotions’ for students of 6 and 7 ; inspired by Edmund’s unconditional love for children and his undying love and compassion for those who were less fortunate.
Our Guests of Honour, Mrs Indra Sood and Mr Jitesh Khanna were full of praise for the outstanding effort put in by our students and congratulated the educators for providing a valuable educational experience to our young Columbans. The excellent choice of poems and songs was highly appreciated by one and all.
The event provided a platform to our young Columbans to sing and recite in harmony ; learn to work as a team and develop a true spirit of competition.
