Early morning on 3.06.2019, two buses left from St Columba’s for an educational cum adventure trip to Mukhteshwar. This group had 62 students from classes 4-10, accompanied by 6 teachers and 6 members of the tour operator.
The highlights of the trip were the trek to the Bhaalu Gaad waterfall, adventure activities (Rock climbing, Rappelling, Zip line) at Choli ki Jali and a day’s visit to Nainital. Besides these, there was a DJ night, Treasure Hunt and Tie and Dye activities.
The feedback from students was that they enjoyed this action packed trip. “The adventure activities was a thrilling and new experience for most of us.” According to a student of class 4,” It was a great experience staying together in one room with friends. It was fun to do shopping for family at Nainital.”
“We are thankful to the school for giving us a nice experience and beautiful memories which we will cherish for long.” was expressed by a student of class 10.
Parents of class 10 student messaged,” Thanks to all Teachers n organizers for such a wonderful trip…my son had a wonderful times with his mates.”
“The first one is always special! The motherly care you have given to all children, all I can say is THANK YOU SO MUCH. It was truly a learning experience for him with fun in tandem.” was the gratitude expressed by a parent of class 4 .
“Our kids look so happy! Don’t mind if you extend the trip by a day” was the request from parents of classes 6 & 7.
Above all, we thank The Almighty for such a successful trip and look forward to another trip for students.
