A.) Suryansh Govind, student of 12-A, successfully participated in the "University of Bristol Taster Lectures: Facing a World in Crisis" in January/February 2021. The three-day discussions conducted by highly trained professors and scientists at the University, were based on "Climate Change", "Our Shrinking Cryosphere", "
(Un)Natural Hazards" where Suryansh gained insights on 'our melting ice sheets as a result of global warming, and the consequences of this rapid environmental change' along with 'the interplay between social factors and natural hazards with special emphasis on the Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico and the wildfires in California'. Suryansh firmly believes it's time to take action for the environment.
B.) Suryansh Govind, student of 12-A, successfully participated in the Michigan India Conference on 'Stability and Change’ - a keynote presentation by Mr. D. Sivakumar on 5th March, 2021. Suryansh learnt about the nature of various dynamic policies, norms and regulations which drive the Indian Economy and their impact on day-to-day industrial activities. Suryansh has also developed keen interests in Economic Development and Reforms.
