The students of class 2-E, conducted the morning assembly on Friday, the 2nd of August, 2019. The assembly began on a prayerful note with the students leading all the attendees in the morning prayer. This was followed by a short skit titled, 'Say No To Plastic'. Through this play, the boys drew attention of one and all to the disastrous consequences of plastic usage and it's contribution in polluting the environment. The enactment highlighted how dumping of plastic bags poses a major threat to the ecosystem. The simple yet thought provoking story presentation by the students emphasised on the hazardous effects that plastic bags are causing to the flora and fauna in nature.
The boys came up with interesting and user friendly suggestions for reducing the usage of plastic and reusing plastic articles by recycling them. As a gesture of their contribution to protecting the environment, the students presented a token to the Junior Wing Headmistress, Mrs Ritu Kaushal. She applauded the efforts of the students in creating awareness and spreading the message to protect and conserve Mother Nature.
