On 19th August 2019, our school ,St.Columba's participated in the Interschool German Competition-KREATIV which was held at DL Dav Model School, Pitampura in collaboration with Max Mueller Bhavan. The function began with a special vandana prepared by the school choir group. Many cultural programmes were prepared by the Cultural Group of the school that included various dance forms of India as well as Germany.
Various competitions for the german Learners took place .Around 33 school participated in the competitions . Our students of class 6and 7 participated in Cooking competition in which they showed their cooking skills by making German Dishes without fire .Class 8 students presented their talents and creativity by drawing a logo for a german company in India in Tshirt making competition. Schools like DPS , GD Goenka etc won the competitions. Our students had a great exposure to the German food and culture.The enthusiasm of other students towards this language really motivated our students .The day was a huge success.
