Ansh Gupta of class X-E bagged the first prize as the Best Speaker in the 12th Pedro Arrupe Inter School Declamation competition. The event was held at St. Xavier’s Sr. Sec. School, New Delhi on 9th August, 2019. 38 participants, who displayed exceptional speech delivery, from the 19 schools participated in the competition. St. Columba’s was represented by Ansh Gupta and Tanish Jain, both of class X-E. Articulate speakers presented powerful speeches. This experience was one filled with learning as the jury guided the orators about the art of preparing and delivery speeches. It was an enriching experience for the young speakers.
