The best way to reward teachers is by telling them how they have been beautiful instruments in transforming young lives. St Columba’s celebrated its teachers and educators in a very special way on 19th of September. A staff orientation facilitated by the Principal Br. Miranda was followed by a combined session on Discipline taken by the heads of the three wings.
For students, learning might stop when they find place in their dream jobs but teachers continue to renew their skills, their vision and resources to adapt to all kinds of young minds they are dealing with.
The Staff orientation was followed by some wonderful power packed performances by Junior, Middle and Senior School boys. From poetry recitation to beat boxing, singing and dancing, Columbans know how to win hearts. Teachers were gleaming with big smiles seeing their students perform specially for them. Wishing all the teachers on this special day a cake was cut. Students distributed a small token of their love and appreciation to every teacher. Warm lunch, a little bit of dance and fun conversations with friends and colleagues was the perfect ending to the day.
