One of the most awaited events of the Junior Wing, the Annual Swimming Gala, was organised on the 27th of September, 2019.
With great enthusiasm and palpable excitement, the students sitting in their respective sections were waiting to cheer for their class champions in the pool. The Swimming Meet was declared open by our Honourable Principal, Br. Miranda amidst loud cheering. The numerous events that were organised involved all the competitive swimming strokes showcasing the talent of our young participants. The champion swimmers of the Junior Wing enthralled one and all with their grit and stamina. They surely put in their best to reach the finishing line. There was much display of teamwork as different relay events were also conducted. The nail biting and close finishes captivated the attention of one and all. The budding swimmers from Kindergarten left all spellbound. The parents of the students were all smiles and encouraged them by applauding their efforts. The gala was also graced by by Mrs. Sangeeta Sheel, the Headmistress of the Middle Wing and Mr. Naresh Chopra, the Administrator of the Senior Wing. It was indeed a proud moment for the parents and grandparents alike to see their sons being awarded medals on the victory stand.
Our Principal, Br. Miranda and the Headmistress of the Junior Wing, Mrs. Ritu Kaushal congratulated the swimmers who bagged winning positions and praised the efforts of the coaches and the swimming pool support staff.
