Title : KG ART EXHIBITION (2019-20)

Art is an important part of a child’s daily routine. Not only does it prepare the child for academic success, but it also fosters emotional development and offers the child an opportunity to express himself. Art and craft strengthen spatial reasoning and hone fine motor skills as well.

The creativity and artistic flair of our enthusiastic kindergarteners were in full splendour during the KG Art Exhibition, staged on the 12th of October, 2019. This fabulous exhibition comprised of the creative art and craft work done by the boys in their classes in the first term. The classrooms and the corridors were abuzz with colourful displays of our little hands at work.

Spear heading as the protectors of nature, the boys spread awareness about climate change and propagated the message of planting more trees and minimising use of plastic through art. The lovely Warli Art, the beautifully decorated paper pots of Krishna, the cute farm animals, the bright paper butterflies, the three dimensional paper trees and thumb printed frogs among many other works captivated one and all.

Various paper folding-craft techniques and painting techniques using aluminium foil, ear-buds, loofas were used to prepare the art exhibits. The well trained speakers elaborating their labour of love impressed one and all with their confidence.

Our Principal, Br. Miranda and the Junior Wing Headmistress, Mrs. Ritu Kaushal were all smiles as they took a tour of all classes of KG. They appreciated the creativity and hard work of the students and the teachers.
