A special assembly on ‘ Diwali and Bhai Dooj’ was conducted in the Middle School on 24th Oct, 2019.The assembly was presented by the boys of class IX. The objective of the assembly was to make the students aware of the importance of ‘Diwali’ in our lives and how to celebrate it in a true spirit. The assembly commenced with a prayer song- ‘Ramchandra kripalu bhajman…..’. The boys enlightened everyone with the importance of the festival- why and how it is celebrated. They also highlighted the significance of the festival of ‘Bhai Dooj’. The boys took vows and urged the students to celebrate Diwali with a good cause, to experience the joy of giving, to be environment friendly and enjoy an eco-friendly diwali and above all to spread the light of happiness through understanding and caring. The assembly concluded with a melodious song bringing about the festive spirit in all of us.
