The crisp morning of the 16th of November, 2019 saw “Life coming full circle!” as the ex- Columbans of the batch of 1979 revisited their Alma mater to take a trip down memory lane, tracing once again the steps taken years ago.
The day marked the occasion of the inauguration of the Multi-Sports Activity Court, which has been constructed in the Junior Wing through the generous contributions of the Batch of 1979.
The junior school boys were all smiles as they ushered in these veterans with a poignant poetic welcome. The honourable ex- Columbans inaugurated the Multi-Sports Activity Court with a ribbon cutting ceremony amidst much applause and fanfare. The prayer song by the Indian Music Choir added to the solemn lamp lighting ceremony.
This was followed by a well coordinated dance performance on a foot tapping number which set a joyous mood for the morning. Nostalgia filled the air as the ex- Columbans revived those carefree school days sharing anecdotes about their teachers and friends.
The Western Music Choir paid a heartfelt tribute of gratitude to the esteemed guests. Our honourable Principal, Br. Miranda thanked them for their generosity and dedication to the school. Reminiscing with old class mates and cherishing the lovely moments with students, the ex- Columbans added another treasure to their trove of memories.
