The Columban socials are one of the most awaited events of the year, especially by the passing out batch. This year, St. Columba's hosted its neighbour, the Convent of Jesus and Mary for the socials on 23rd November. The event began with a couple's 'pin the tail on the donkey' game wherein from selected couples, one was blindfolded while the other was to tell them the directions towards the donkey poster. Other playful activities such as a stand-up comedy and couple karaoke followed. The two schools to impress each other also gave a dance performance.
The Edmund Rice Hall was then instantly transformed into a dance floor where the students came together for some fun and jazzy dance moves with their partners.
The event ended with the distribution of awards, namely- Best Dancing Couple, Best Dressed Couple, Best Smiling Couple and the Prom King and Prom Queen.
The event was a major hit among the students and the teachers alike.
