In keeping with the tradition of commemorating 7th December to honour the soldiers, airmen and sailors of our country, the students of Class 8D conducted a special assembly on ‘The Armed Forces Flag Day’ in the Middle School. It was a celebration in remembrance of the armed forces who valiantly defend our borders to safeguard our freedom.
The objective of the assembly was to make students aware of the importance of the Armed Forces in our lives. The students enlightened everyone with the significance of the day through thought-provoking speeches and a melodious song. They also highlighted the role of the three wings - the Indian Army, the Indian Airforce and the Indian Navy - in maintaining peace in our nation.
Our Principal, Br. Miranda appreciated the efforts of the students for paying tribute to the courageous martyrs.
