The Columbans learnt the true spirit of Christmas, as they celebrated the festivities.

The spirit of giving which is at the heart of Edmund Rice philosophy, comes full circle with Christmas celebrations in the school. 20th of December 2019, the school came together to share with one another the Christmas spirit.
The program was an all-school assembly at the senior school field. It comprised of various musical and dance acts performed by all three sections of the school-junior, middle and senior. A musical act was put up by the junior school students, depicting the birth of Jesus at Bethlehem and the Angels announcing the coming of the Saviour Lord Jesus Christ. Later, to amuse one and all, Santa joined the event with a dance performance. The dance performance by the senior school boys, the carols sung by the school choir and the good wishes of the season shared by the young columbans were all one could ask for to uplift the spirits of everyone.
Br. Rev. E.V. Miranda in his address to the school students and staff, talked about the relevance of change and how everyone is capable of bringing about change if they believe in themselves. Changes occur only when we enable them through our acts. Every revolution begins with a spark. The world becomes better through one act of random kindness at a time. And it is at this time that we must realize that we should keep the spirit of Christmas with us, all throughout the year.
