The students of class 4C organized an outreach program to Nirmala Shishu Bhawan on 3rd February 2020 . Nirmala Shishu Bhawan is an organization run by Missionaries of charity for the abandoned and disabled girls. There are 25 children between age groups 5-10 taken care by nuns, volunteers and special educators.
The team of 40 students were accompanied by three parents and the class teacher Mrs. Hima Simon . It was a life changing experience filled with emotions and sentiments for the students. Students interacted with the inmates , they helped the girls to learn ,paint and sing. Students of 4C sang songs and recited poems for them. Harshaan Pusuluri of 4C played some tunes in his guitar. The girls were happy to see children from our school interacting very intimately with them . The students generously contributed packets of detergents and diapers ,which was collected from each student in the class . Our students were motivated to help the needy people and be a help and support for them . It was an enriching and enlightening experience for our students.
