On 19th February 2020,forty one students of class 6 E went to visit the Arya Mahila Ashram, run by Arya Samaj Society . The Ashram has 72 elderly residents.
The boys got to interact with the residents who were very welcoming. The boys entertained them by playing the guitar, singing hymns and spent a few moments in prayer as well .The person heading and managing the ashram reiterated the importance of respecting parents, the elderly especially when they cannot contribute to society as earlier.
Overall it was a day of learning, sharing and introspection, indeed a day well spent.
