A two-day workshop for all the Teaching Staff of the school was organized on the 11th and 12th of March 2020 in the Edmund Rice Hall. The objective of the workshop was to embed the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals and the Values of our Indian Constitution in the annual school curriculum across all classes and all subjects. This workshop was one of the important steps to align the school’s educational target with the global call to create students who are aware, conscious and sensitive to the needs of the times. These 2 days were followed by 5-days of in-depth workshops for teachers from the 14th to 19th of March. They were divided into smaller subject and class groups where they prepared detailed teaching plans for their upcoming classes. The 17 UN SDGs and Human Rights enshrined in our Constitution will now be an important learning goal of our school and will definitely enable our SCS Family to make a change for good around us.
