COLUMBANS EASE LOCK DOWN BLUES WITH AN ONLINE INTRA-CLASS QUIZ COMPETITION
It is rightly said ‘When the going gets tough, the tough get going’.
Schools may be shut but teaching – learning process hasn’t stopped.
E- Learning has added wings to education by giving a chance to learners to explore new avenues and overcome the challenges of learning amidst lockdown.
Although the rigours provided by the teachers in a classroom set up might be missed in the online medium but surely we are making a head start.
To encourage the students widen their knowledge, an online Intra –Class Quiz Competition was conducted on 24 th April 2020 in the zero period for the students of classes 4 to 10.
The questions put forth to the students were intriguing and exciting, testing different aspects of their knowledge like current affairs, inventions, books and authors and so on.
Through this quiz, the young minds were kept engaged and updated.
It was heartening to see that the students participated enthusiastically and showed an overwhelming response. It was an exhilarating experience for them wherein they felt connected with their institution even in these trying times.
