The Annual Award Presentation Ceremony for the academic year 2019-2020 was held on The 18th of August 2020. The Chief Guest of the day was Mr Vineet Kohli, CEO of Mitsubishi, who is an alumnus of SCS from the batch of 1990.
The e- Ceremony started at 9:00am with the lighting of lamp and the welcome address by the students. The award presentation was conducted by Abhyuday P Kalyani and Ishaan Sharda of class 12. The school band rendered the song “ stand by me” which was followed by the presentation of the prestigious awards by Mr N Chopra and Br Miranda. The award presentation was followed by the release of the e-magazine “The Columban” by the chief guest.
Mr Vineet Kohli motivated the young Columbans to work hard and stay optimistic to climb up the ladder of success. He emphasized the importance of good education, values and beliefs to rise higher in life. He believes that education is the key to success and teachers play a very important role in it by providing the right mix of chalk and challenges.
Mr N Chopra proposed the vote of thanks and concluded the ceremony.
We would like to sincerely thank Br Miranda and Mr N Chopra for their constant support and encouragement. A special thanks to all the teachers, members of the administrative staff, Aakansh Moses Smith, Joshua Carol, Aditya Sebastian, Aditya Jonathan Singh and Shambhava Sood for their help which enabled us to organize this event successfully.
