DATE: 25th August, 2020
The Rhyme and Rhythm competition for classes 4 and 5 was held on 25th August. Brother Miranda, Our Principal, was the Chief Guest and Mrs Sheel, Headmistress MS, was the guest of honour. Mrs. Pooja Guglani and Mr. Ungshungmi from the SCS Jr Wing were the judges for the competition.
This event is held every year to encourage students to enhance their speaking skills through poetry and song. The students underwent rigorous training to put up synchronised, well coordinated, full of expression and well rehearsed poems and songs.
However, this year as we face the covid situation students were forced to practice in the confines of their homes through online classes. As we were facing technical glitches during rehearsals we had to put up individual instead of choral performances. Six boys from every section were randomly chosen by Brother Miranda. Out of them three recited the poem and the other three sang the song which has been chosen for the section.
The boys of Classes 4 and 5 participated enthusiastically.
Results of the Competition
4A , 4B and 4E stood first, second and third respectively from the 4's.
5C, 5A and 5D stood first, second and third respectively from the 5's.
The event was a success.
