In the existing scenario of despair and uncertainty during the pandemic, “HOPE” was chosen as the topic for the Online Assembly by Class 3D.
‘Hope’ although a four letter word, lights up our inner positivity and optimism.
The students chose ‘Rainbow’- a sign of hope in many cultures, as the theme for the morning. The assembly started with ‘The Rainbow Exercise’ to begin the day. Then the class moved on to a time of prayerful mindfulness, inviting the Lord to guide and help everyone to stay hopeful at all times. The students presented a short meaningful story about four candles. The candles depicted joy, peace, faith, love and worth of hope. The short enactment enlightened everyone with the message that “The greatest of all things is love but the flame of hope should never go out of our lives”. Finally, the assembly concluded with the meaningful song ‘Go light your world’ which was mellifluously sung by a student of Class 3D.
Our Headmistress, Mrs. Ritu Kaushal appreciated the students’ efforts and reinforced the message of staying hopeful and ever so grateful in times of challenge and strife.
