Mrs. Sushma Gupta and Aslekha Philip with their team presented an assembly on 22 October 2020 on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam’s on 15th October.
- Gauransh Bhardwaj of 7 D started the assembly with a brief introduction on Dr. Kalam.
- Anmol of 7 A gave a speech elucidating the inspirational life Dr. Kalam.
- Mark Vincent Aranha read a poem written by him.
- Christopher Gomes reflected the theme of the assembly by presenting the Thought of the Day.
- Finally, the assembly culminated towards its end with a tribute to Dr. Kalam with our school anthem sung by Namish Chaudhary of class 7 D
The students learned that every small thought leads to the greatest deeds. The life of Dr. Kalam gives motivation to all to be determined in whatever we decide to do in our lives. It is almost impossible to imagine a small boy having such big dreams but one’s hard work and determination makes it possible. Dr. Kalam teaches us to believe in our aspirations and continually work towards it.
