Topic - Work hard to climb the ladder of success!
The morning sets the day and the assembly paves the way for our students to rejuvenate their spirits, remain rooted to their moral values and unleash their vitality. Keeping up with the same, the students of Class 1 E conducted their Online Assembly on 3rd December 2020. The theme of the assembly was “HARD WORK – A LADDER TO SUCCESS”.
The assembly commenced with the ‘Morning Prayer’. The highlight of the prayer service was the hymn-‘Everything I am…’ which was beautifully played on the keyboard by Ian Christopher along with his melodious singing. Following this was the presentation of thoughts and ideas about the theme- Hard work.
In order to express the assembly’s theme, the students presented a short skit. The narrative revolved around two boys and their stories of success. While one child was overconfident and sure of his success, the other worked hard towards attaining success.
The underlying message of the skit was that one must remember that there are no secrets to success. A dream does not become reality overnight. It takes sweat, determination and hard work.
The boys delivered a beautiful message that ‘Good things come to those who struggle and work hard to climb the ladder of success!’
Lastly two boys recited a poem themed along hard work and success which was followed by a pre-recorded dance video on the song “Keep on trying”.
Our headmistress Mrs. Kaushal congratulated the class for presenting an amazing assembly and also gave a special message as a concluding note.
