Title : FOR COLUMBANS IMPOSSIBLE READS - I'M POSSIBLE

Our Columbans are an amazing amalgamation of talent, grit and determination 

a. Ansh Gupta of class 11 A participated in the University Quiz organised by Scholarly on 31st January 2021. The quiz covered information about universities and their history around the globe. He bagged the first position and was awarded Rs. 25,000

b. Suryansh Govind, student of 11-A, attended a leadership session 'The Coffee with Leaders' organised by Learn with Leaders on November 21, 2020. The speaker was Lucia Del Vita, a professional coach and a successful entrepreneur. The talk was based on 'Discovering the Curiosity Quotient of the Leader.' Suryansh was nominated from St. Columba's School and was 1 among 70 students from 9 countries in Asia to participate in the talk. Suryansh was also complemented for displaying an exemplary performance in leadership and he built a very amiable rapport with Lucia, TAs and his fellow participants by being one of the only representatives from Delhi. 

c. Vaad Vivaad Vichar
A debate competition was organised by the 3Vs organisation on 9 Jan on the motion. “Feminism is causing more harm than good”. Tanish Jain served as a part of proposition and was awarded the first position

d. Suryansh Govind, student of 11-A, participated in the most exciting Leadership and Entrepreneurship Boot Camp at the highly reputed University of Bristol (UK) along with International Development Programme (IDP) and IELTS on 14th, 15th and 16th December 2020. The three-day sessions were based on three vital aspects of the business world, namely 'Entrepreneurship in a Crisis: Opportunity, Pricing, Gouging', 'Risk and Return' and 'Leadership, Complexity and Change'. Suryansh enjoyed participating in discussions with students and members from 15+ countries. 

e. FINANCE 360 
Tanish Jain And Shaurya Garg participated in a mockstock competition organised by Keshav Mahavidyala, Delhi University on 25 January. The duo participated in a 3 round competition cruising their way to the finals, competing against 16 college and school teams out of a total of 100. They were awarded the 2nd position.

f. Cambridge Indirapuram hosted a Tech fest called Ideation (Technika Fest)
Team members: Samarth Jain - XI D , Shambhava Sood - XI D , Sushant Kumar - XI D and Aditya Sebastean - XI F came second in the competition

g. Manthan (Cognizance Fest) was a Humanitarian fest hosted by Cambridge Indirapuram
Team members: Samarth Jain - XI D , Shambhava Sood - XI D , Shreyas Aditya Baksi - XI D and Aditya Sebastean - XI F came First in the Competition.

h. Ansh Gupta (11-A) and Kanav Dawar (12-A) participated in BizMind Essay Competition organized by IIM Rohtak. The topic was: Green Business Ideas: How can startups help save our environment? Ansh bagged the second position, while Kanav secured the seventh position out of thousands of entries. They were congratulated for their uniqueness, clarity of thought, completeness, and correctness.
