The Junior School collaborated with HT CITY (newspaper) and COLGATE-PALMOLIVE to conduct short webinars in the month of February for the students of classes – KG, 1, 2 and 3. These interactive webinars were organised to sensitize the students of the junior wing about oral health and water conservation.
An interesting and engaging module, titled – "BRIGHT SMILES BRIGHT FUTURE" was presented online to bring to fore the important issue of dental hygiene.
It was a fun and exciting session where the Health Educator, Ms. Monika Rauthan elaborated on how adopting good habits of maintaining oral health is so very crucial. Through games, quizzes, audio visual tools and educational flip charts, the students learnt the need of conserving water while brushing their teeth. The Health Educator also stressed on the importance of SDG 6 – Clean Water and Sanitation.
The students were given an interesting task to make a ‘Brushing Calendar’ – showing ways of conserving water and upload the same on the company’s website to claim a free gift. It was indeed a great learning session with relevance to our daily lives and the students surely enjoyed the same.
