a. Tanish Jain of XII-A was invited to attend the leadership summit meet by UNESCO on April 9th and 12th. Only 120 students from all across the world were selected. The eminent speakers were Dia Mirza, Banki Moon and Indra Nooyi.
b. Tanish Jain of class XII-A also participated in an inter university debate competition held by Indian Institute of Travel and Tourism Management, Noida.
He won the best speaker for the team proposition. St.Columba’s School was awarded the best school.
c. Tanish Jain worked as a volunteer with the organisation EduPaper from April 10th to May 10th. He helped provide notebooks to the marginalised by reusing & recycling paper in order to create a better environment.
d. Shambhava Sood of Class XII-D participated in the Annual National MahaBehes Competition. He qualified in the first round (Behes 11.0) as the best team and best speaker (Gold-Medalist.) In this Rapid-12 Round Extempore Format, he secured the 29th spot as the Best Speaker (Top 30) and was awarded a Silver Medal for the same.
e. Variety is what helps you in becoming a sound human being. It is an honour for all those who delve deep into finding their true potential. Devyaan Arora of class XII-A has been selected for the prestigious FIC RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP programme conducted by the Shri Ram College of Commerce. With over 1000+ registrations pan-India followed by extensive rounds of screening and personal interviews, Devyaan Arora qualified from St. Columba's for this fellowship. It is one of the most coveted fellowships aiming to demystify various aspects of finance and help students gain a better understanding of it. The programme is said to begin from the 28th of June to the 11th of July with the chosen 70 Young Leaders of the country.
f. A race to excellence is what people are looking for to delve in. One such piece of excellency was produced by Devyaan Arora of 12-A who was a panelist in the Session on “How to make Money” with esteemed professor - George Benaroya - Faculty at New York University and a VP of Finance, Global Controller. Being selected in the esteemed list of 25 panelists after various rounds of application and business plan submissions from all over the world (30+ Countries including USA , Argentina, etc.), it was surely an enthralling experience interacting with learned individuals all over the world.
