Mahavir Jayanti was celebrated virtually to enlighten the minds of our young Columbans
An online assembly was conducted on 23rd April, 2021 to mark the occasion of Mahavir Jayanti. A short video on the values and teachings of Lord Mahavir was shown. The five main principles of his teachings - Satya, Ahimsa, Achaurya, Brahmacharya and Aparigraha were shared with the students. The idea behind sharing about the life of Lord Mahavir was that it would help the students to connect what they learned to tackle obstacles thereby becoming adaptable to lead a good and peaceful life.
