Title : HANP ( HANDWRITING AND NOTEBOOK PRESENTATION ) ( 2021-22 )

"Either write something worth reading or do something worth writing."

– Benjamin Franklin
Writing is a skill of marking coherent words on paper and composing text. It is a vital means of communication and holds a lot of importance in spite of advancement of technology.

To hone the skills of writing beautifully among the young learners of Junior School, an Online HANP was conducted on 25th June, 2021. The aim of the event was to facilitate learning of the language through an interesting handwriting competition focusing on correct strokes, presentation and neatness.

The students were all charged up with their pencils and erasers, ready to present their best writing strokes. Our little champs from classes KG to 3 were encouraged to write (letters for KG and a paragraph for the other 3 classes) and they performed wonderfully well. The students were fully engaged and enjoyed participating in the activity.

Aimed at emphasising on the importance of fine motor skills and concentration, this competition also encouraged the children to take pride in presenting their notebook work neatly.
