The Annual Award Presentation Ceremony for the academic year 2020-2021 was held on The 21st of August 2021. The Chief Guest of the day was Mr Anand Rai, President of IILM University and Banyan Tree Schools, who is an alumnus of SCS from the batch of 2002.
The e- Ceremony started at 9:00am with the lighting of lamp and the welcome address by the students. The award presentation was conducted by Suryansh Govind and Shambhava Sood of class 12. The school band and Mrs. Payal rendered songs reflecting the theme of the ceremony- Rejoice in the Learning and Never Give Up. This was followed by the presentation of the prestigious awards by Mr N. Chopra and Br. Miranda. The award presentation was followed by the release of the e-magazine “The Columban”.
Mr Anand Rai motivated the young Columbans to work hard, find their passion and never give up in life. He congratulated the awardees for their compassion, resilience and success. He believes that Columbans can be distinguished from the others by their discipline, values, sincerity and behaviour.
Mr N Chopra proposed the vote of thanks and concluded the ceremony.
We would like to sincerely thank Br.Miranda and Mr N.Chopra for their constant support and encouragement. A special thanks to all the teachers, members of the administrative staff, Aakansh Moses Smith, Aditya Jonathan and Aditya Sebastian for their help which enabled us to organize this event successfully.
