On this Independence Day, the students of St. Columba’s School came together to commemorate 75th year of independent India through a virtual assembly presentation.
Beginning with a fabulous pledge accompanied with a vibrant animation on the significance of our national flag, the assembly commenced with our moderators enlightening the audience with some exciting facts and ideas about the country. Principal, Br. Miranda took the opportunity and addressed the students with an eye-opening speech reflecting his ideas and opinions on the bright future of the country. This was followed by a number of vivid plays, dances and orations by the students of the three wings. Next was a melodious flute performance followed by the middle school choir singing songs on our nation’s praise and patriotism. It was indeed a matter of great honour and pride to see the young generation devoting heart and soul to think about the progress of our country. Each Columban was a star performer in this assembly.
